




Wisconsin Safe Routes to School Bicycle/Pedestrian Plan and Implementation Recommendations for 24 communities
Wisconsin cities of Appleton, Ashland, Columbus, Darlington, Elk Mound, Kenosha, Lodi, Marshfield, Oconto, Onalaska, River Falls, Sparta, Sturgeon Bay, Sun Prairie, Washburn, and West Allis; Wisconsin villages of Holmen, Oregon, Rib Lake, Spring Green, Union Grove, and Waterford; Lac Courtes Oreilles and the Town of Mercer
SAA is currently preparing SRTS plans
for the following communities:
• Three Lakes School District, Three Lakes, WI
• Northland Pines School District, Eagle River, WI
• Raymond School District, Raymond, WI
• City of Franklin, WI
• Village of DeForest, DeForest, WI
• Sauk Prairie School District, Sauk Prairie, WI
During the first year of the Safe Routes to School implementation grant cycle, nine of fifteen SAA communities were selected based on plan recommendations totaling more than $1.1 million dollars.
